Chelsea’s oil paintings detail the minutia of the everyday with delicacy and humour. Her painting style is intricately detailed and executed. Chelsea often includes unexpected elements such as hand stitching and embroidery, referencing the domestic arts. Chelsea is a resident of Barwon Heads, Boom Gallery has exhibited her work several times over the previous two years.
