Claire Gorst started creating with clay in 2014 and it’s something she has enjoyed alongside family life ever since.
Clay, glaze and the many different ways of working with these materials presents endless opportunities to learn, improve and experiment.
Claire favours the organic shapes and finishes that can be achieved with hand building techniques in particular. Drawing inspiration from childhood nostalgia, vintage and contemporary ceramics, and the beautiful natural surroundings of the Surf Coast.
