Kirsten's one of a kind works are made in Melbourne. Be kind to these fragile, handmade pieces.
"I like to make anthropomorphic forms and to experiment in a variety of media such as concrete, metal and clay. I draw influences from popular culture. My blog, ‘Repugnant Charm’ could sum up the nature of my work. I play with bringing enough beauty to an ugly object or making a beautiful object a little bit ugly. I do this by allowing myself to make mistakes and use them as a feature of my work. It brings a smile to my face and reminds me not to take myself too seriously."
