Daisy Cooper Hand builds her ceramic forms by pinching and coiling clay allowing her to create natural and ergonomically pleasing vessels, which reflect the themes of wilderness, history and her interaction with the clay. Taking inspiration from the environments and seasons of nature, each piece is individually glazed, creating a unique ceramic form.
This collection of vases and oil burners sit perfectly filled with fresh flowers from the garden and sweet smelling incense to remind you of the outdoors and adventures had.
Daisy’s ceramic journey started in 2014 with an evening course in pottery, she found herself deeply connected to the medium and from there grew her practice to where it is now. The process of hand building is where Daisy finds herself most creative and allows the clay to form its own unique shape in her hands, making each piece a one off to be treasured.
