James Street Gallery: James street is just off Little Malop Street and here you can visit the well known James Street Gallery. James street provides “a welcoming and accessible studio for artists with disabilities. And since 1997, it has supported local and studio artists in more than 140 exhibitions”. The street-front space of this studio has a gallery where artists exhibit their work.

Hue and Cry Gallery: Further down James St, you will come to Ryrie Street which hosts Hue and Cry a commercial gallery located in a two storey, heritage building. The owners of this gallery are passionate about making contemporary art accessible for everyone and have a stockroom full with the work of local artists, showcasing a variety of mediums ranging from photography to pastel drawings, watercolour paintings to oils and more. The gallery has 3 exhibition spaces and shows are launched monthly.
