Boom Gallery was launched by Ren Inei and Kate Jacoby in 2011, and is the result of two friends coming together in a shared creative venture.
Today, it is one of regional Australia’s leading contemporary art and design galleries.
Ren and Kate were both born and raised in Geelong, with a shared background in fine art and arts education. Both Ren and Kate deeply understand the challenges of the artistic life, particularly for emerging artists. This empathy fuels their commitment to providing a nurturing environment for artistic expression.
The Boom exhibition calendar always includes a great diversity of media, techniques and subject matter. The aim is to have a balanced exhibition program that includes sculpture, printmaking, drawing, photography, digital media & painting. Where possible the gallery aims to include non-commercial exhibitions, installations and events into its overall program.

ARTIST SUBMISSIONS
Boom represents established and emerging artists who are creating original and exceptional artwork. If you have a considered, comprehensive body of work that is of a very high standard then please send your submission via email. Proposals should include an artist statement, CV, bio, hi res images and relevant links. Due to the high number of applications we receive it may take 1-2 weeks for us to respond.
