What's On at Geelong Gallery
Currently, there are two exhibitions at the Geelong Gallery well worth visiting.
The first is the inaugural Geelong Contemporary Art Prize.
Continuing a long tradition of acquisitive award exhibitions presented by the Gallery the Geelong Contemporary Art Prize 2024 includes some of the country's finest established and emerging artists. Melbourne based artist Travis McDonald has been awarded this prestigious prize with his painting 'The Top of the Pond'.
The MAKE Award showcases designers + makers working across all related disciplines including ceramics, glass, furniture, metalwork, textiles and fibre and contemporary jewellery.
This is a Biennial Prize for innovation in Australian Craft and Design and is an Australian Design Centre ADC ON Tour national touring exhibition.
This exhibition concludes on Sunday 27 October
