Kir Larwill + Tony Scott, 'These Days'
Opening
Saturday 24 February
01:00 PM - 03:00 PM
Exhibition Dates
22 February -
17 March
Kir Larwill and Tony Scott's joint exhibition These Days was a chance for these two artists with unique practices to work together, resulting in a body of work that is both diverse and complimentary.
"The work in this exhibition was made through slow, informal collaboration between two artists, Kir Larwill & Tony Scott, inspired by the poetry of Samantha Bews.
These Days is their exploration of beauty and simplicity, and the steady rhythm and passing of days."
What a lark for the gods
to give so much of what
is never ours.
- An extract from Samantha Bews, “Birthday Celebration”, These Days, Mark Time Books, Castlemaine, Victoria, Australia, 2019, p.5.
