"I’ve always been interested in the architecture of real and imagined spaces. Mid lockdown 2021 I began to explore themes of portals, journey and place, perhaps as small excursions for my imagination, or doorways to less alarming realities.

Recently passing yet another threshold, surfacing from lockdown to new societal norms and new covid variants, more personally the journey into motherhood while watching with horror as a war unfolds and the climate changes.

This latest body of work is an extension of those early portal experiments – a mix of joy and trepidation as we emerge from ‘unprecedented’ landscapes."
