"Dancing in stillness.

This series of paintings was born during the covid restrictions and hence we couldn’t make our usual trips to the desert.

Instead we had the joy of the Hawkesbury sandstone country, with its dancing angophoras, the subtle and tough colour combinations and the layers of hills, rocks and bush. While I sit in the bush doing preparatory studies, strange juxtapositions jump out at me from the silence as the natural world dances around me."
