Peta Armstrong
Peta Armstrong makes high fired stoneware ceramics from her home studio on Wadawurrung Country, the Surfcoast Shire of Victoria, Australia.
She is equally enamoured by the process of making wheel thrown and handbuilt work, either decorative utilitarian pieces or sculptural objects that tell a story.
It is through the act of creation and personal meditation, that she hopes to bring to the viewer similar feelings of leisure, of drifting into a calm space, for the mind to play and take relief from life’s incessant naggings and calm any chaotic thoughts.
