Congratulations to local artist Janne Kearney for being named a semi-finalist in the prestigious BP Portrait Award, held at The National Portrait Gallery in London! Janne’s painting ‘Miasma’ (pictured) is on its way to London for judging and if selected to join the exhibition, Janne’s artwork will travel the UK and be seen by hundreds of thousands of people. (Not to mention a huge cash prize if she wins!) We wish Janne the best of luck for the award and look forward to her solo exhibition at Boom in July / August this year.
