"The landscapes were appropriated from old western comic books after removing the texts and characters. They prompt reflection about our relationship with landscapes depicted in popular culture and how this shapes our view of landscape more broadly.
These works centre around the iconic line of the connector pen texta. Their limitation as a colouring tool and the pattern they naturally create when used in one direction is what interested me."
