These most-useful-of pieces are handmade using the most lovely gently sandy clay, and finished with a lush white glaze wash, resulting in sweet, caramel finish. The lid nestles in the vessel, making the perfect piece for salt in the kitchen and on the table, treasured trinkets in the bedroom and useful bits and pieces in the bathroom. At least, that's what we use ours for. I'm sure they'd be perfect for many other uses.
