"Depicted here are two stalwarts of my lockdown - tea and books - made significant by their details. The mug was a gift from a dear friend, the tea was a special treat to replace events missed, and the book is one I revisit often to find new wisdom each time. They are rendered in my faithful material of felt with embroidered and needlefelted details, the time-consuming nature of these techniques allows a slow and thoughtful process, demonstrating a form of reverence for the objects they are replicating."
