ARTIST STATEMENT
"Originating from a colourful and fragmented monoprint taken from my paint palette, this work transforms the remnants of process into a resolved image. The resulting 'colour storms' articulate both the physical labour of painting and the psychological weight it carries. Through layered gesture and chromatic intensity, I extend my ongoing inquiry into abstraction as an embodied record of movement, emotion, and material thinking."
