ARTIST STATEMENT
"While working on these new pieces my focus was to be loose with my ideas and sketches, especially colour combinations. I like the idea of pairing colours that feel fresh to me, balancing and refining the painting without losing the initial idea.
While I work within the field of abstraction each painting has its own underlying meaning/feeling, always searching for human connection. I like to think the work has space for people to come to a conclusion in their mind."

From the Southern Ocean in Victoria, Kasper Raglus’ geometric abstractions plot a purist's personalised pathway through the noise, chatter and chaos of contemporary life.
Like unfolding fractals, the linear architecture of his compositions and hard-edged brushwork pull the viewer ever forward, confidently negotiating the maze, reaching toward infinity.
