ARTIST STATEMENT
"Music connects me into the collective experience of being a human. Even when a song breaks my heart it makes me happy to know that I’m not alone in that feeling, that we’ve all been here before, and from it we can make beauty. So I painted people celebrating what music is for them - and they don’t have much clothing on because I wanted to show it as the authentically personal experience music is for each of us."
