Rachael is an Adelaide-based contemporary jewellery artist whose work embodies the essence of line and form to tell a story of continuation and reflection of what surrounds us. The use of traditional handmade techniques; an interest in Architecture, Japanese minimalism and Art Deco, added with the satisfaction and honour of having a little something of hers fill a little corner of happiness for another, helps her to construct unique contemporary pieces. After graduating with a Bachelor of Design in Jewellery & Metalsmithing from University of South Australia, she had her work acquired by The Art Gallery of SA. She then resided in Japan for 6 years whilst still exhibiting both here and internationally before returning eventually to Australia where she continues to develop and explore her passion for contemporary metal.
