"A simple cup can hold traces of our contemplations, our early morning musings and wonder.  

For this body of work, I am interested in the quiet moments - those unnoticed, small fragments of life that don’t yell “Hey look at me!” - but just quietly fill our today’s and yesterday’s.          

These are central characters in our moments of contemplation, wonder and connection - imbuing significance in their simple presence.  

For me, the very painting of these vessels (from life), the capturing of light as it falls, and the dance of my brush as it sculpts their form, is itself, a gift of contemplation and wonder."
