West Central and East Tulla

These artworks are based on ground plans on ancient architectural structures found in Mexico and Central America from 1000BC to 1500AD. 

David Turner has exhibited widely since 1969 with over thirty one man exhibitions. His work has been exhibited all round Australia as well as internationally.

Turner established a reputation as an important Australian printmaker by championing the screenprinting process during the 1980s. His work forms part of many major collections, such as New Parliament House Collection Canberra (four works), Gallery of New South Wales, Latrobe Valley Arts Centre, Gordon Institute of TAFE, Geelong and many more.
