Jasmine Doesn't Stop!
We are thrilled to work with Jasmine Mansbridge, an artist with incredible energy, focus and passion.
Read a little about the places she has been and the projects that have kept her busy this year.
"Art Happenings 2024 - With art being a central focus for much of my life it’s been wonderful to have the last twelve months become a bit of a whirlwind of art related activity. This has been underpinned by my ongoing decision to make the best possible work I can and to make the most of every opportunity given to me.
This time last year I was in France for a residency at the Chateau Orquevaux where I made a body of work titled; Poetry Buried in Geometry. I then returned to France in May to install a large scale Dream Gazebo sculpture at the Chateau Des Deaux Amants. I also attended the Hong Kong Art Fair in with my agency there, the energy, colour and architecture of the city being an ongoing inspiration over the years.
It was these travels, my notes, drawings and dreams that inspired this exhibition of small works opening this weekend; Portals, A Pegasus, Angels and Alchemy. Art is the way I have long captured what feels important in the world, both on a personal and a big picture scale.
Another highlight from 2024 so far has been inclusion in the 100 Emerging Woman in Art Book curated by Kristin Hjellegjerde, Kristin has Galleries in both London and Berlin and I am exploring opportunities to exhibit in these locations in the future. I have also begun working with the Gruin Gallery in LA and will visit and exhibit with the Gallery in 2025.
I am as much in love with the process and the world of the work as ever and so grateful for the people I meet and the places I visit as a result of following this creative path. Big thanks to everyone who collects from me and invests in the future of my practice. Art is an ever evolving ever expanding thing for me.
