Harry McEvoy
Harry McEvoy is a dynamic young local artist who grew up along the Surf Coast. He first exhibited with us in 2015 as a year 11 student and has continued to impress us with his persistent desire to paint, draw and make art. His work is a celebration of youthful energy and boldness but also thoughtfulness and reflection.
“Over the past 12 months I’ve been creating these new works based on impulse without any preconceived ideas. Through the loose application of oil paints Its allow me to create expressive figures and faces.
The only objective in mind is to continue to learn about the medium of oils and to create figures that respond to their viewers.
