Liam Haley

Liam Haley is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Naarm (Melbourne). Born on the Northern Rivers of NSW, Haley’s upbringing in a scenic environment of green and blue fertile landscapes has shaped his artistic practice today. Haley’s works are performances of expression; ideas played out in a physical, artistic way. Colours and shapes are informed by immediate surroundings, pondered carefully. Seasonal sunshine, the beautiful things it can illuminate. Things that can be easily forgotten in a rush.
“I approach the process of art making with curiosity, allowing me to show full attendance and learn at every point. I find out what works for me, whilst hopefully having a good time tweaking the results. I treat my body as a carrier for movement of subconsciousness, creating a symbiotic relationship between the inside and the out…”
