ARTIST STATEMENT

"My paintings are an exploration of memory and present experiences, weaving together the landscapes of my surroundings with recollections of past journeys. This interplay unfolds through interlocking and shifting forms, where shape, line, and colour become a visual dialogue, simultaneously moving together and merging. A thread of light emerges along the edges of forms, activating the surface and allowing colour to shift. Through the process of building multiple layers, I create an immersive and luminescent space that conveys a glowing light, as if it is moving within the painting."
