Early Evening at Glenrock

"The inspiration for these paintings (and almost all of my work) comes from a special place right by my house called Glenrock. The area is the traditional land of the Awabakal people. It is a picturesque national reserve right by the beach with bushlands, walking trails and a lagoon that opens up and spills into the ocean.

The lagoon has become a motif that I will paint over and over and it will always be the same but different. There will always be subtle changes just like there is each time I visit Glenrock."
