Andrea Shaw
Artist Statement
Andrea’s works bring together aspects of landscape with intuitive mark making and collage. They are abstract representations of time spent in the landscape derived from pattern, colour and process.
Working from quick sketches made out on walks and memory her works are dynamic, playful snapshots responding to the ever-changing forms within the landscape. There is a blending of abstract expression and the surrounding environment.
